Grits, ribbon cane syrup, (don't think she knew what "yougurt" was) hominy, corn pudding and turnip greens.

Now I know what duck's penis looks like. =) Heh.

Mac and cheese, yummmmmm....but not the kind in the box. The yucky Kraft variety was my daughter's favorite. I can't stomach the fakey-cheese kind at all!Have Myelin?https://www.blogger.com/profile/05704037582961814202noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8716611.post-3717361340306452562011-08-22T05:58:29.916-05:002011-08-22T05:58:29.916-05:00Lil Sis.. they are not officially called augurs. The peach fuzz rubs me the wrong way - kinda like fingernails on a chalkborad. It's very difficult for me to bite into one. I need someone else to peel it for me. Don't like touching it either.

I've been drinking buttermilk over at dads now and then. I never thought I'd like it, but I do now. sour cream - buttermilk - all kind of the same thing. R is missing out!

I never new those corkscrew pastas were called augers. I thought they were rotini or fusilli (something like that)Lil Sishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01586649120736359871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8716611.post-1617616796393541922011-08-21T13:58:25.377-05:002011-08-21T13:58:25.377-05:00Cottage cheese has always been one of my favorite ...Cottage cheese has always been one of my favorite foods and I particularly like it in a mound surrouned with - are you ready for this? - pork and beans. Yep. Sounds strange but I love it. So does my husband (I converted him), my kids and my oldest grandson. All that to say - I visited a cheese factory when I was a teenager and witnessed how cottage cheese was made there. If that didn't turn me off of cottage cheese, NOTHING will. Mac & cheese. Hmmm. I think I know what's for dinner.Oklahoma Grannyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10053304659210754009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8716611.post-65639573627260407282011-08-21T00:30:21.651-05:002011-08-21T00:30:21.651-05:00I cannot get down buttermilk, cottage cheese or yo...I cannot get down buttermilk, cottage cheese or yogurt..I would starve to death on those foods.
