The last 3 books I read shared a love for words like "pad" and "pensive" and "stormy gazes". It got so bad, that when I read the word "pad", I started thinking of yellow, lined pads for shopping lists... which lead me to wonder what I should cook for dinner... and did I remember to turn the oven off after I took that cake out... which reminded me that I needed to add eggs to that yellow, lined "pad" before I forgot.<br />I too, have memories of those big ol' banana slugs.
