My sister says she feels sorry for me because of the turkey thing.
I did not mean to leave that impression that I was somehow being victimized by the glut of turkeys.
I was a willing participant in this marathon of turkey cooking. It works out very well for us to cook the meat in advance. My husband assembles the evening meal using the meat I have cooked in advance and adding vegetables and whatever carb we decided we are having. Even as I write this, my husband is making a nice turkey stir fry with some of the turkey I cooked and an assortment of vegetable
