I went to an indoor yard sale on Saturday and I bought a nice bar of olive oil moisturizing soap.
I paid 50-cents for it, which I know is a good deal because I found it on the Internet for a variety of prices, usually between $12 and $14.95.
The soap is indeed lovely, creamy with a wonderful fragrance.
It weighs 12 ounces.
I find it a bit hard to hold, especially when I have it with me in the shower and am attempting to use it.
It might be comfortable in the hand of Madame Olympe Maxime the giant woman played by Frances de la Tour in the Harry Potter movie.
But I can barely keep a grip on it.
I am thinking about getting out the hacksaw and cutting it smaller pieces.

Wonderful price for the soap! After Christmas one year at Costco, I bought gift boxes of olive oil soap and lotion on clearance, I agree it has a lovely scent...the bars are small size though. I have a 10.5 oz. size of rose scented soap, which I've never used, so I understand the 12 oz. problem.
I don't think I've ever seen a bar of soap that big before.
Great bargain all right. I'm always dropping soap or whatever in the shower. It's very frustrating. The shredding thing seems like a good idea. Been there done that. I do wish what I had done was kept a journal of every book I've ever read from about age ten one. I don't exactly know why though. Maybe now that I'm doing book and movie reviews on my other blog. At least I can identify the name and author of books whose title but not substance I've forgotten. :)
